I’ve been investigating the best way to make a website for a photographer for a while now.  The site needs all the usual stuff for a small business (about, contact form) combined with a portfolio, blog and e-commerce functionality.  For photographers, social media is just as important as it is for all other sites, but includes Flickr as well as the usual Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.

There’s a huge number of solutions out there, but sticking with my principles of rapid deployment, standardised technology and good support I’ve settled on Photocrati [http://www.photocrati.com/]

So far, my experience is pretty positive.  It installs well and is pretty easy to use after a quick skim of the documentation.
